I completely agree with you. As of now we are making the best use of the resources we have at hand. When Avon starts giving samples I would be the happiest person.
I am doing the Avon business for years now. And we have many things beyond lipsticks. My majority of sales comes from Skin Care Products.
Lipstick is easy to sell and most new representative start with them but I recommend my representatives to look at the bigger picture and make the most out of what is available.
The cup is half full and its half empty as well, its up to us how we take it.

At present Avon does not give samples for lipsticks. I have heard that they are planning for it.
However, Avon Representatives deal with this in various ways.
Most representatives use shade card as something is better than nothing. At least the customer gets to see the shades.
Secondly, Avon has a money back policy. You can tell the customer that if you dont like when you see it, you can return it if its unused.
Products can be returned to Avon if the customer does not buy. This can be done within 90 days of invoice date. You need to give a copy of the invoice and fill a return form available with the Avon center.
Most customers are willing to buy when you give a money back guarantee.
There are many experienced Avon Representatives in this group. Feel free to share with the group how you handle this situation.

Hey wanted to know that Avon does not give samples for lipsticks….
Coz many of my customers want to buy lipsticks they dont place order after seeing the shades in the brochure coz the shades differ very much.
I called the Avon – Customer Care No. they say that shade card is available but even that too wont solve the purpose.
If you can help me in the same that would be appreciated.
